Return Policy


Footwear: We will be happy to accept returns on unworn merchandise, in perfect condition, when notified within 7 days of receiving your purchase. All costs associated with shipping a return is at the expense of the purchaser. Please read below for the return rules and procedures.

  • Socks and accessories are final sale. No exceptions.
  • ALL clearance items and sale items purchased online are final sale, no refunds, no exchanges, and no store credits on those items. No exceptions.
  • During any/all "Free Shipping" promotions, all product returns will be at the cost of the buyer. 
  • If an order is returned to us because it was not claimed by you, refused by you, or due to a delivery attempt to a wrong address, we will refund the merchandise minus the shipping fees charged by Canada Post.  If you would like the order shipped again, you will be responsible for shipping fees via Canada Post.
  • Christmas Gifts: The return request email (as outlined below in the rules and procedures) must be received by us on or before December 31 of the same year the purchase was made and be within 30 days of the original purchase date. The purchase must be identified as a Christmas gift in the Special Instructions at the time of purchase. All other rules and procedures apply, sale items, clearance items, socks, and accessories are final sale, no refunds, no exchanges, and no store credits on those items. All shipping costs for product returns will be at the cost of the buyer. 

Return rules and procedures: 

Please note that all returned merchandise must be in perfect condition and fit for re-sale. While we understand that trying on our footwear is required to ensure a great fit, we ask you keep this in mind when trying on your purchase. Make sure you are wearing clean socks, do not wear anything outdoors, and limit the time you wear the product to ensure it remains in perfect condition and suitable for re-sale in our store. Any items returned in any condition other that how they were received, will not qualify for a refund. 

  1. Begin by sending us an email to request your return. You must contact us within 7 days of receiving your item. Email us at contact@shoetreemoncton.ca to begin the process. Please state your reason for the return. Please DO NOT ship an item back to us without communicating with us first.
  2. All costs associated with shipping your return back to The Shoe Tree are at the purchaser’s expense.
  3. We do not refund any shipping costs.
  4. All returns must include the original receipt of purchase in the box.
  5. Sale items purchased online are FINAL SALE. NO returns, exchanges, or store credits. No exceptions.
  6. The product box must be in perfect condition with all labels intact or in the same condition as received. If any damage occurred during shipping, please include this information in your return request email.
